The N55 engine is known for oil cooling challenges, making the Mosselman Oil Thermostat a crucial upgrade. The standard thermostat allows the oil temperature to reach approximately 120 degrees Celsius under normal driving conditions. The Mosselman Oil Thermostat opens at a lower temperature (85 degrees Celsius) and keeps the oil temperature stable between 95 and 105 degrees Celsius, depending on the car model. This not only ensures a cooler oil temperature and more stable performance but also improves the engine's reliability.
